Here I am in April 2006...with two more doors, two more cylinders, and two less paddle shifters. I returned my leased 2002 BMW M3 SMG to BMW of Seattle in June of 2005. I picked up this 2000 BMW M5 with ~80,000 miles on the clock and a clean CARFAX for less $$$ than used wholesale price. The new BMW has some cosmetic quirks to be expected, but nothing a little love won’t fix. It is in excellent mechanical condition, and I purchased a 3-year bumper to bumper warranty to keep it that way. Since I am not leasing and I now actually *own* a BMW, I am looking at upgrades. More importantly though...I have the entire year planned for track events all over the west coast.
